KCO uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to help understand how visitors interact with the website.

Our current consent plugin is configured so that its Google Analytics script is loaded only after you grant analytics consent.

If you reject optional analytics, that plugin does not load its Google Analytics tracking script.

When analytics is enabled, information about website usage may be processed by Google according to the applicable service arrangements.

Our configuration disables Google advertising personalisation signals and does not send URL query strings or fragments as part of its configured page location.

Google Analytics may use cookies, including cookies in the _ga family, to distinguish interactions and support measurement.

5. Koko Analytics

KCO also uses Koko Analytics, a WordPress website analytics tool.

Koko Analytics is separate from the Google Analytics consent mechanism described above.

Its precise tracking and cookie behaviour depends on the active configuration. Where analytics technologies require consent, they must be operated in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

6. Your Consent Choices

When you visit KCO, our privacy consent system allows you to decide whether optional Google Analytics tracking may operate.

The available choices are:

• Accept optional: Allow Google Analytics tracking controlled by the KCO consent plugin.
• Reject optional: Decline optional Google Analytics tracking.
• Preferences: Review the available consent categories and select your preferred setting.

Necessary functionality remains enabled, while advertising consent is currently unavailable and disabled.

Your choices are voluntary. Refusing optional Google Analytics tracking does not prevent you from browsing the website.

7. How Your Preferences Are Stored

Our consent system uses your browser’s local storage to remember your selection under the key kco_consent.

The stored information records your consent settings, a configuration version and the date your choice was saved.

Your preference remains valid for up to 180 days, unless it is changed, deleted or becomes invalid earlier.

If browser storage is disabled, cleared or unavailable, you may be asked to make your choice again.

This preference storage is separate from Google Analytics cookies.

8. Changing or Withdrawing Consent

You can revisit your choices using the Privacy preferences control provided on the website.

You may accept or reject optional analytics, or change your previous selection.

If you withdraw Google Analytics consent, our consent plugin disables further GA4 measurement through its configuration, attempts to remove accessible standard Google Analytics cookies and reloads the current page to unload the previously active tracking script.

Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase analytics information previously processed by third-party providers.

You may also manage cookies and website storage through your browser settings.

9. Third-Party Services

Certain website features may involve external providers, including hosting, embedded content, communications or technical services.

Those providers may operate their own technologies according to the functionality used and their applicable privacy arrangements.

We aim to limit unnecessary tracking and provide appropriate information and controls where legally required.
