Bespoke Websites · Architecture first

Build the system your business actually needs.

Your website. Your rules. My design.

A portal, a specialist configurator, a workflow that standard tools cannot deliver responsibly. Start with the outcome. I’ll work out the architecture that makes it possible.

From €350 Discovery
From €2,500 Implementation
From €199/month Mandatory Care

Separate charges. Final development pricing follows paid Discovery; infrastructure and third-party costs are defined with the scope.

Where bespoke earns its place

When the way you work needs more than a template.

Custom engineering should solve a real problem. These are possibilities to explore, rather than a catalogue of features you have to buy.

01

Customer portals

Give people a place to get things done.

Clients, teams and partners can have different roles, access and responsibilities. A bespoke portal can connect their documents, requests and approvals around the way your business works.

02

Specialist configurators

Turn complicated choices into a clear next step.

When your products, services or quotations depend on rules that a standard form cannot handle, a custom configurator can guide choices, validate combinations and prepare the right request.

03

Connected workflows

Make the hand-offs part of the system.

A website can become the front door to a wider operation: collecting structured data, applying your rules and passing the right information between systems. Discovery checks the dependencies before a build is promised.

See the connections

It’s what happens after the click that counts.

Explore three illustrative workflows. Your system’s roles, rules and exceptions would be defined during Discovery.

Requests move forward. Everyone sees their part.

  1. 01 Client request Client workspace
  2. 02 Role & access rules Who may see or change it
  3. 03 Team review Approve or request changes
  4. 04 Approved release Documents & status update

A client submits a request; the system assigns the right access and your team reviews it. An approval can release the agreed documents and update progress. Roles, exceptions and data protection shape the architecture.

Discuss this portal workflow

Let the rules guide the choices.

  1. 01 Customer choices Options & requirements
  2. 02 Compatibility rules Check combinations
  3. 03 Valid configuration Review the result
  4. 04 Quote or order Agreed next step

A customer selects options; the system checks combinations against your rules. A valid configuration can become a quotation request or an order, depending on the approved architecture. Pricing, stock and exceptions need their own assessment.

Discuss this configurator workflow

One request. A coordinated response.

  1. 01 Incoming request Structured input
  2. 02 Validate & route Your data rules
  3. 03 Connected platform Agreed API connection
  4. 04 Status & follow-up Team visibility

A request arrives; the system validates and routes its data. A connected platform receives the information and returns a status your team can act on. API access, retries and failure handling matter as much as the happy path.

Discovery & Architecture

Turn a promising idea into a plan you can act on.

You should know what you’re commissioning before development starts. Discovery examines the requirements, dependencies and risks, then defines an architecture and implementation scope that can be priced responsibly.

This is professional analysis with its own agreed deliverable. You receive that work whether or not you proceed with the build.

Discovery · Level 1

A contained custom requirement

€350

One-off Discovery fee

For a relatively contained bespoke problem: review the requirements, map the key workflow and assess a suitable technical approach.

Requirements, feasibility, proposed architecture, scope and dependencies.

Discovery · Level 2

Several moving parts

€750

One-off Discovery fee

For substantial projects involving multiple roles, workflows, integrations or custom systems that need a coherent plan.

Roles, data, workflows, integrations, security, infrastructure and development stages.

Discovery · Level 3

A major technical investigation

From €1,500

One-off Discovery fee

For major or unusually complex systems needing deeper API research, prototypes, data modelling or multiple stakeholder requirements.

The Discovery scope and final Discovery price are agreed individually before work begins.

From architecture to production

An agreed scope. A considered build. A managed launch.

  1. Define the architecture

Discovery establishes the approach, responsibilities and dependencies.

  2. Agree the implementation

Development starts from €2,500, excluding Discovery, Care and external costs. Where sufficiently defined, you receive a fixed project quotation before work begins.

  3. Build, test and review

Testing is part of the build. You review the agreed functionality before launch; material new requests are quoted and approved separately.

  4. Launch with ongoing Care

The production system runs on KCO-managed infrastructure, with the Care level matched to its ongoing technical responsibilities.

Discuss my project scope
A custom system needs continuing attention

Care for the system your business depends on.

Updates, backups, monitoring, integrations and recovery remain important after launch. Every production Bespoke project requires ongoing KCO Care. The level follows the operational responsibility of your system.

Bespoke Care

From €199 /month

For lower-complexity bespoke systems: technical maintenance, daily automated backups, monitoring and troubleshooting, where applicable.

Up to 90 minutes of minor technical work per month.

Advanced Care

From €299 /month

For greater operational complexity: more application review, integration oversight, backup attention and priority technical handling.

Up to 3 hours of minor technical work per month.

Managed Care

From €499 /month

For substantial systems with greater continuing responsibility. The exact monitoring, maintenance and support arrangement is individually defined.

Final scope and recurring price agreed for your system.

Before you take the next step

Good questions. Clear answers.

You don’t need a technical specification to start. An explanation of the problem and the outcome you want gives Yumi somewhere useful to begin.

How do I know if my idea needs Bespoke?

It depends on the engineering, rather than your company size, page count or budget. If proven website tools can responsibly deliver the requirements, Yumi can recommend Business or E-commerce instead. Bespoke is appropriate when substantial original engineering or application architecture defines the solution.

Can I get a development quote before Discovery?

Your first qualification conversation is free. A final bespoke development quotation follows paid Discovery, once the architecture and scope are sufficiently understood. The €2,500 minimum is an implementation starting point, not a promise that any idea can be built for that amount.

What if Discovery shows the project is not feasible?

You receive the agreed Discovery deliverable. You are not obliged to commission development, and KCO may decline implementation if the investigation reveals capability, policy or risk issues. Discovery is paid analysis, not a guarantee that every proposal will proceed.

How are development and payments priced?

Implementation is normally an agreed fixed project price derived from the approved scope. Bespoke engineering is estimated at 1,250 CZK/hour; ordinary configuration, content and support use the applicable 750 CZK/hour rate.

For implementation below €5,000, payments are 50% before development, 25% at an agreed milestone and 25% before launch. From €5,000–€14,999, the schedule is 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% against agreed stages. Projects of €15,000 or more use individually agreed milestones. Discovery is paid separately in advance.

What about hosting, APIs and external costs?

Infrastructure is selected for the architecture and defined in your quotation. External services, licences and provider fees are separate; compatibility and current costs need verification. KCO manages the server environment. Suitable application access can be provided, but server/root/SSH access is retained by KCO.

What happens if I want to change the scope?

Material new requirements are assessed for cost and delivery impact and approved before work begins. Larger changes receive a fixed change quotation; significant architecture changes may need further Discovery. Care covers agreed minor technical work, rather than unlimited new development.

Who owns the finished work?

Your final agreement defines rights to the project-specific deliverables after full payment. KCO retains its pre-existing technology, reusable components and internal systems. Third-party software retains its own licensing terms; your legitimate domain ownership remains yours.

How long does it take, and what happens after launch?

The delivery range is confirmed after Discovery, rather than promised before scope is understood. Testing and review are part of the build. A 30-calendar-day post-launch warranty covers reproducible defects in KCO-developed functionality against the approved scope; new requests and external changes are separate. Ongoing technical management continues through mandatory Care.
