About Me
I’m Karel Caslavsky, a Web Designer who’s been building websites for over a decade. It started as a hobby, turned into a career, and remains a passion to this day.
I prefer hand-coding custom solutions over template-based CMS builds. Clean code, no bloat, full control. That’s how I deliver sites that actually perform.
“I went to college to become a programmer. A few years later, I accidentally became a freelancing web designer. Best unplanned career move I ever made.”
From Code To Design
The Academic Path
I went to university fully motivated to become a programmer and software developer. That was the plan; write code, build software, change the world through logic and algorithms.
The Pivot
One thing led to another. A few years went by, and I was a fully fledged freelancing web designer, without even planning to become one. Sometimes the best careers find you.
The Nomad Life
Now I’m a digital nomad currently in the Czech Republic, heading to the Philippines next. I work with clients worldwide while exploring this planet. Still waiting for warp technology to go beyond local.
I describe myself as an open-minded secular humanist with a passion for different cultures and humankind in general. Working with people across South Africa, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, England, and America isn’t just business – it’s a genuine joy.
Clients & Industries
From agencies to doctors, diaper makers to furniture craftsmen. I’ve had the pleasure of working with diverse businesses across the globe.
Agencies & Developers
Web development agencies needing reliable partnership and white-label design work.
Legal & Medical
Lawyers and doctors requiring professional, trustworthy web presence with strict compliance standards.
E-commerce & Retail
From diaper makers to furniture craftsmen, and Businesses selling physical products online.
Entrepreneurs
Business women and men, family operations, and friends turning ideas into digital reality.
