About Me
Karel Caslavsky is a globetrotting, affiliate-marketing, nomadic web designer with a knack for keeping clients happy across the globe. He’s been designing websites for over seven years and prides himself on actually answering emails and remembering people’s names, skills few web designers can claim.
I would describe myself as an open-minded secular humanist with a passion for different cultures and humankind in general.
At first, I intended to be a programmer and software developer and went to college fully motivated to become just that; however, one thing led to another, and a few years went by, and I was a (almost) fully fledged freelancing web designer without even planning to become one. Somehow, my hobby became my career, though I still like to insist it’s mostly a hobby, because, honestly, calling it “work” feels like a betrayal.
This fortunate turn of events led me to design websites for people like Frenchie Africa, Karl Martin Online, Milwoy Digital, The Artizan Group, and many more. Working with people all over the world is incredibly rewarding; South Africa, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, the Czech Republic, England, and America are some of the countries I’ve collaborated with… well, not the countries themselves but the lovely humans living there.
I’ve successfully been a digital nomad, freelancing web designer and affiliate marketer for a while now, and it has only deepened my love for this type of work. I’ve had the pleasure of working with agencies, lawyers, doctors, diaper makers (yes, really, nappy folks too), furniture makers, business women & men, family, and friends. I code websites with great respect for standards, because it makes life easier for everybody. My site even used to validate, honestly! Ask my Mom.
I have one son, also named Karel. I’m currently in the Czech Republic but intend to go to the Philippines and stay there for a while, continuing my globetrotting nomad lifestyle while doing what I do best, being a financial freedom influencer through affiliate marketing and, of course, web designing. I love travelling, so hopping over to a client’s HQ for a big project isn’t an issue. Anywhere on this Planet is fair game. I’m just waiting for warp technology to develop so I can go beyond local in a heartbeat.
